:( I was fortunate enough to find a hospital that would "allow" it... but I know so many who've been told they had no choice but another C. I'm so sorry :(.

I had other medical issues, too, so even if there were hospitals in our area that allowed them, they might not have let me. I've come to accept it. But thank you.:-)

I hope this really does start getting more women to have VBACs. The current trend towards more and more c-sections is outrageous.

i am currently going to battle this for the next 5 months before the birth of our 2nd. however as it stands i will have no choice but to have another c-section. i hate that the hospital and doctors would rather tell me what i can do with my body then let me choose. they have made the choice not to keep the necessary staff on hand so that way vbac is not an option. any suggestions on how you would go about fighting this...i am open!

Our hospital has a consultant midwife who encourages VBACs. I know it's harder in the US.
